One very brave woman made the decision to put her own life on the line to risk the life of another. The cyclist spotted a small dog get loose and rush into busy traffic in Mexico City. Almost immediately, the woman races after the pooch on her bike and puts herself in between the cars and the dog.
The video above captures the terrifying moment when the woman saves the life of the dog who she had never before met. According to The Dodo, the woman said part of the reason why she went out on a limb to save the pup's life is because she has a dog and knows "how important a dog is to his family."
After capturing and rescuing the dog, the heroine was able to find his owner and promptly warned them about being more cautious with securing their dog in the future.
